BlackBerry kabusu!
ZDNet yazarı bir IT yöneticisinin yazdıklarına bakılırsa, her an eposta alabilmeye imkan saÄŸlayan BlackBerry bir noktadan sonra kabusa dönüşebiliyor. Bunun bir örneÄŸi de Ä°ngiltere BaÅŸbakanı Gordon Brown. Åžu sıralar tatilde olması gerekirken deniz kıyısında BlackBerry’sinden ofisinde olup bitenleri takip eden BaÅŸbakan, dinlenememekten ÅŸikayetçi.
Şüphesiz ki bir başbakanın işinde kopamaması ve sürekli olarak olan bitenden haberdar edilmesi oldukça olağan bir durum. Peki ya diğer çalışanlar? Aslına bakarsanız BlackBerry ve benzeri cihazların kullanıldığı şirketlerde ciddi sorunların ortaya çıkması muhtemel. Çalışanların homurdanmaya başlıyor olması da bu yönde bir işaret.
Şirketlerin çalışanlarıyla yaptığı sözleşmeler pek tabii ki iş saatleri dışında bu cihazların kullanımıyla ilgili herhangi bir madde içermiyor. Fakat yöneticiler hangi saatte olursa olsun epostalarının cevaplanmasını umuyorlar. Hatta ummakla kalmayıp, bunun bir gereklilik olduğuna bile inanabiliyorlar. Peki sahiden insanlar ailesine ya da arkadaşlarına ayırması gereken vakitten işleri için feragat etmeli mi?
Karşılaşılan bir baÅŸka sorun da personel arasında eÅŸitsizliklere yol açıyor olması. Bir çalışan iÅŸ dışı saatlerde iÅŸe daha fazla vakit ayırabilirken, bir diÄŸeri ailesi veya baÅŸka sebeplerle gönderilen çaÄŸrılara yanıt veremiyor olabilir. Tüm bunlar mesai saatleri dışında oluyor olmasına raÄŸmen yöneticilerin personelin ÅŸirkete olan baÄŸlılığını deÄŸerlendirme noktasında bakış açılarını etkileyebiliyor. BlackBerry’sini sürekli kontrol eden daha hızlı yükselebiliyor ya da prim alabiliyor. Ä°yi ama ya sözleÅŸmeler?
Gelişen teknolojinin daha çok iletişim araçları sunmasıyla iş ve özel hayat iç içe girerken, her birini korumayı ve kendi alanında tutmayı başarmak güçleşiyor. Bu noktada adaletli bir sistemin işlemesini sağlamak sorumluluğu da yöneticilerin, özellikle de bilişim yöneticilerinin üstüne düşüyor.
